Hi there ! :)

i havent create an art for a long time, i had some ideas in head but i guess i am too lazy :D but i had some time and i wanted to finally create something new, i hope you will like it, especially the cities, they were pain in the ass :D

Edit : edited shadow, i made this according to this image by nasa [link] it might look strange, but an eclipse really could create that kind of shape :)

doesn't look hard to make, the planet isn't very detailed or complicated the background either, the flare is just a flare, yet the final result is outstanding.

this is a good example of how handling lighting make pictures look awesome (if not try taking away the flare and the shadow on the planet (that was the hardest part to make right?) and see what happens).

bottom line... just awesome.

well in fact i spent many many hours making, editing and retouching those cities i did maybe 4 or 5 versions of them and i still am not hapy with the result :D but you are right it isnt hard, its just very time consuming :) and thank you mate :)

and that shadow was hard to make because i wanted to fit in the picture, so i used 3d max, but i occasionaly use it

Oh sorry of course, city lights are also a pain in the ass:D, I also know it by experience.

For me they are very fine though.
